HEavy Equipment

In February of 1910, Benjamin Holt opened a factory in East Peoria, Illinois incorporating as the Holt Caterpillar Company. As track type tractors were being delivered from Holt’s factory, Jarvis was manufacturing the tooling used to produce the frames, engines and components required by the heavy equipment and mining industries.

Today, Jarvis produces high performance application specific taps to meet the tough requirements of heavy equipment manufacturing. Whether it is extended length, larger or small diameter, coolant fed, roll form or cutting, Jarvis can design and manufacture any tap configuration to meet your needs.
