Bill received an urgent request from Enfield Technologies for a special oversized tap needed in the production of ventilators and acted on it right away.

The blind hole on the application is over three diameters deep which makes it difficult to remove the chips with a cut tap.  Bill went with a Jarvis Jarflo form tap for the application to eliminate the chip problem. The Jarflo form tap provides accurate pitch diameter size which  eliminates tight threads after the plating process.

We fast-tracked the job through production and the tools are currently headed out for coating.
